Over the past few years, I’ve been following the construction of Universal’s Epic Universe, from the first excavations to the final touches before employee previews begin. The excitement has been building with every new video I’ve seen on social media, and I’m even considering a quick weekend trip just to experience this incredible new park!
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
As huge Harry Potter fans, my husband and I are most excited about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. I recently watched a Theme Park Stop video on YouTube that showcased a nearly completed inside look at the 1920s Paris streets. After spending so much time immersed in Diagon Alley (Universal Studios Florida) and Hogsmeade (Islands of Adventure), I don’t think I’ve ever been more excited for a new theme park land! Universal knows how to transport you straight into the movies.
And let’s talk about Butterbeer in French—Bier au Beurre! How cool is that? But the real highlight? Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. You’ll enter the ride through the Floo Network—yes, the Floo Network! This is going to be unlike anything we’ve ever experienced, and I’ll definitely be watching all the vlogs to see those first reactions.
How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk
Another land that has me in awe is How to Train Your Dragon: Isle of Berk. I’ve seen videos of dragon drones flying over the land, and I can’t imagine anything more magical! Imagine walking through a Viking village and seeing Toothless soaring above you. I really hope this happens multiple times a day because that would be next-level immersion.
Dark Universe
I have to admit—I’m both excited and a little nervous for Dark Universe. Universal’s classic monsters are legendary, and the theming looks absolutely stunning. While I hate jump scares, I can’t wait to see House of Frankenstein and The Wolfman ride. The Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience is at the top of my list!
Universal describes it as:
Guests of all ages can become fashionably monstrous as they don elaborate face paint and temporary tattoos at Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience within Dark Universe. Here, monster makers have converted Dr. Pretorius’ infamous old lab into a parlor to continue the spirit of his demented experiments, and skilled artisans use their talents to transform guests’ outer appearances so they can showcase their fandom for the Universal Monsters.
Super Nintendo World
For all the gamers out there, Super Nintendo World is finally coming to the East Coast! I can’t wait to experience Mine-Cart Madness (definitely my most anticipated ride) and Yoshi’s Adventure. Don’t forget to grab your Power-Up Band so you can collect keys and battle Bowser Jr. throughout the land!
A Multi-Day Adventure
Epic Universe alone is going to require at least two to three days to fully explore. Plus, with Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and even Volcano Bay, it’s going to be an unforgettable trip.
If you’re as excited as I am and want to book your own Epic Universe adventure, reach out to me! I’d love to help plan your perfect Universal Orlando vacation.
