Theme Park History
Universal Studios Orlando, now part of the larger Universal Orlando Resort, opened on June 7, 1990. It was designed to give guests a behind-the-scenes look at movie-making while offering thrilling rides and attractions based on popular films and TV shows. The park's early days featured iconic attractions like Jaws and E.T. Adventure. Over the years, Universal Studios Orlando has expanded and evolved, introducing innovative experiences such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley and Fast & Furious – Supercharged. Today, it remains a premier destination for entertainment and excitement, continually pushing the boundaries of theme park experiences.
